I am a full-stack Software Engineer with 3 years of experience. I am passionate about building fast, scalable, and distributed systems. I have experience with React and Angular on the frontend, and C++ and Java on the backend, I've worked on building applications from scratch involving cloud infrastructures and handled various databases. I am looking for opportunities in Software Development. Feel free to reach out to me on jayesh.kumar@nyu.edu.
Graduate student at Tandon School of Engineering, New York University.
My coursework includes Data Structures and Algorithms, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Big Data, Intro to Java, Computer
Systems Architecture, Computer Networking.
Graduated with Bachelors in Technology with a minor in Business Management. I honed my foundations in Computer Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology while studying subjects such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management System, Computer Organization and Architecture, Microcontrollers, Communication Network, Problem Solving using Computers (C++), Digital System Design.
Worked with the Customer and Commercial Technology team on building features for the Southwest.com website. Coded an accessible search enhancement on 4 pages of the Southwest.com website using React and Java currently in Production.
Worked with the R&D team for Airline Schedules as part of the Amadeus' flagship Altea Inventory Product. Developed solutions for airlines worldwide, building schedule and inventory products using C++ and Java.
Developed a proof of concept for an operational scheduling product used by hundreds of Ground Handlers and airlines. Migrated the product to use Angular and Python, increasing user experience, customizability, reducing developmental effort and time to market.
Created a Proof of concept by performing 'Market Basket Analysis on Python', also known as Association-Rule mining, on a dataset with 21,000 entries to extract customer purchase trends with confidence>50%, support value>1% and lift value > 1.

Founded the AR team for a student-led research project aimed to develop a hybrid educational environment in the metaverse using Microsoft Hololens. I conceptualized the design, set up the initial steps to integrate the environment with Microsoft Azure's Custom Vision Portal for object detection, and trained and validated images of 3D objects to successfully. It was a wonderful experience from the future!
Assisted Dr. Joby Antony (former visiting scientist, CERN Geneva) at the Cryogenics Lab. Researched on a network of 200+ sensors for data redundancy, data packet loss and retransmission causing delay. Proposed improvements and received special recognition from the mentor for key inferences drawn leading to drastic improvement in the network.
